COP28, Moroccan Pavilion

At COP28 UAE, Al Moutmir played an active role in the side event titled "Scaling Conservation Agriculture in One Million Hectares under Morocco’s Agricultural Strategy Generation Green 2020-2030." The event, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests in partnership with the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA), brought together a panel of distinguished experts. These included Faouzi Bekkaoui, INRA General Director, and Riad Balaghi, Director of Projects for the AAA Initiative, among others.
The panelists shared valuable insights into no-till and conservation agriculture practices in Morocco, emphasizing key success factors. Mr. Nawfel Roudies, Head of Al Moutmir, highlighted the importance of close farmer follow-up and collaborative partnerships in the program's success. Al Moutmir and UM6P reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to the national no-till program, empowering farmers to adopt regenerative farming practices and creating entrepreneurship opportunities for youth.
